a little while back i had a message on my cell phone. it was from this mom. she starts off, "hi, mandie, this is ***** luke, i don't know if you remember us...."

okay, hold on right there. are you kidding. of course i remembered them. who could forget the two cutest little bubbly red heads.

i started getting giddy when the end of her message said they wanted to schedule another session this year. these girls are so adorable. and they have so many ideas of their own on pictures they want taken of themselves. i just kind of sit back, listen and snap away. i should definitely hire them as assistants.

i have done a lot of sessions this fall. and most of them have been requested to be at this park. this park has been absolutely breathtaking this year.

problem: what do you get when you combine a late saturday afternoon, beautiful weather, and a gorgeous park with fall colors?

give up....people and photographers.

i was blown away at how many people there were roaming around this park during the evancic's session. it was insane. but still fun!

i had a harder time getting the dog to look rather than baby.

sweet nibblicious cheeks. i so just made that word up.

megan and bob wanted some bridal and groomal photos. they were married one year ago, but weren't able to capture what they wanted on their wedding day. so, i had the opportunity to snap some for them. besides being slightly chilly, we had a blast!

i love senior sessions. love them. and rebecca...gorgeous. her eyes sparkle.

her session was a tad bit windy...okay really windy. i was extremely annoyed at first, and then began to love it. i would wait for small gust of wind to come because it would slightly blow her hair. and the sky...overcast. love it. perfect session.

i am still learning how to capture sun flare. here is an attempt.

Rex {Boise Famiy Photographer}

love the rex family. love them. great friends. miss them too.

their session was outstanding. the kids were great. brother kept giving me the cheeser smile. the challenge was trying to capture his natural adorable smile. sister was distracted by the rocks, leaves, and grass and loving that she could sit up on her own. she wasn't interested in me and the camera. i am so offended. =)

Schmidt {Boise Family Photographer}

i have had this spot where i have been dying to take pictures. problem, i have had no takers...until now. mom wanted some rustic, downtown alley shots so i sent her to check out "the spot". she then found a different alley with graffiti and gorgeous old brick. so, with those two spots equals an exciting and fun session.

i could not pick my favorites from this session. i wanted to post them all.

here are the few i decided on:

this little guy would not sit still for .5 seconds. about half way through our session, i kind of discovered why. poor kid was freezing and just trying to keep warm. i am so mean!

slightly over exposed (whoops...operator error)...but still a favorite.

love this family.

mom is adorable. dad is soft and genuine. boy is super personality. and girl is a princess.

they are the first family i have shot in nice dress (besides a wedding). don't they look nice. we had fun trying to out run the rain and wind, but it turned out to be a great session.
