meet sweet baby boy channer.

he is only just over a week old. and perfect as ever.

we could not get him to sleep. now, i know most newborns don't like being naked, but mom and dad even brought a space heater to keep little guy warm. he wasn't buying it. smartie pants. it may look as though we got him to sleep...but we didn't...and we tried for almost 3 hours. after our session, mom said he was out cold for the rest of the afternoon. channer, i am so offended! jk

rain, rain go away. come again another day.

this was a spectacular day, minus the gloomy weather for the first half of it. this wedding really touched me and how lucky i am to be a part of something so special and sacred. i bawled through about half of it, and i hardly even know them.

before the ceremony:

we were supposed to go to a park and get some pictures, but due to the rain we weren't able to do that. so, we met outside the temple a few minutes before they were supposed to go in. we were huddled under the covered entry trying to get a few shots, not knowing if they were the only ones we would be able to get throughout the day.

i had this particular spot in mind. been there before, loved the way they turned out. went for this session and they had my favorite part of this old building down town blocked off.

a little while back i had a message on my cell phone. it was from this mom. she starts off, "hi, mandie, this is ***** luke, i don't know if you remember us...."

okay, hold on right there. are you kidding. of course i remembered them. who could forget the two cutest little bubbly red heads.

i started getting giddy when the end of her message said they wanted to schedule another session this year. these girls are so adorable. and they have so many ideas of their own on pictures they want taken of themselves. i just kind of sit back, listen and snap away. i should definitely hire them as assistants.

Evancic {Boise Family Photographer}

i have done a lot of sessions this fall. and most of them have been requested to be at this park. this park has been absolutely breathtaking this year.

problem: what do you get when you combine a late saturday afternoon, beautiful weather, and a gorgeous park with fall colors?

give up....people and photographers.

i was blown away at how many people there were roaming around this park during the evancic's session. it was insane. but still fun!

i had a harder time getting the dog to look rather than baby.

sweet nibblicious cheeks. i so just made that word up.
