while home for thanksgiving, we took family pictures ourselves. between my sister (who also does photography) and i, we were able to capture some great family shots.

the temperature was in the mid-twenty's with a wind chill that made it feel like below zero. this little guy was the only one having fun!

i am so pleased with how these turned out. i was worried because it was windy and bitter cold. girls are adorable. the family is fun. their personalities are contagious.

i can't believe it has already been 6 months since i last met this little guy. time sure does fly. he was a trooper too. freezing winter temperatures and a wind chill that froze us all to the bone. i think he was the only one out of our small group that was wearing a smile that day!

not a huge fan of dogs (and my kids absolutely despise them)...but this one liked me for some reason. yeah, i decided i could probably do one like that.

one thing i love about my job is how many different families/individuals i get to meet. and some of those become friends. which is how i feel about the dewitt family. with them i never feel like i am taking pictures of clients, i feel i am taking pictures of friends and i appreciate them making me feel so comfortable.

this was another session i did right before we took off for the holiday (can you tell i am playing catch up...). it was slightly cold, but we, once again, had a lot of fun and i am super excited to show what we were able to capture.

and you should have seen her purse. probably the ca-utest one i have ever seen. i guess i should have taken a picture of it too, huh! whoops! i warned her not to put it down because i might take it! jk hey, i would have left her wallet....i just wanted the purse!

we totally trespassed for this one. it was dad's idea though!

mom might hate me, but i LOVE her glasses. she kept wanting them off, and i "accidentally" forgot to tell her she still had them on. doesn't she look hot! sorry mom...hope we can still be friends! =)

Thompson {Boise Maternity Photographer}

thanksgiving break over and time to get back to work.

this is a session i did right before i headed out of town. i hadn't seen the little girl in quite a few months and was so amazed at how much she had grown and what a little girl she was becoming.

mom looks outstanding for being 8 months pregnant. i am not one of those woman who is blessed with just gaining weight in the belly. i am so envious of this gal. look how cute her little belly is.

Megan + Skylar {Pocatello Engagement Photographer}

we went to see some family on a quick weekend trip. while their, i was able to do skylar and megan's engagement session. i was a little worried about the winter storm warnings but it was perfect weather...minus the cold.

skylar and megan were quite shy at first, but quickly warmed up to my demands! =)
