FAQ

Where do you shoot newborn photos?  -  I shoot newborn photos in my home.

Do you have newborn props?  -  YES!  I have tons of props for both boy and girl.  Some include wraps, blankets, rugs, baskets, headbands, hats, ties, etc.  Feel free to bring anything you may want in the photos, but if you brought nothing but baby, I have plenty!

How old should a newborn be for photos?  -  I recommend getting photos done around 7 to 10 days old.

What is the best time of day for photos?  -  About 90 minutes before the sunsets is the best time of day.  Mid morning also is a great time.

What if the weather is bad?  -  If the weather is questionable, we can always reschedule, or move it to my house (for small children/families).  Remember that overcast lighting is the BEST!

Deposit Required?  -  At this point, there is no deposit required to hold a session slot; however, I do appreciate as much notice as possible if a current appointment is no longer convenient.

What to wear?  -  This is probably one of the most common questions.  I always recommend whatever will help capture your families personality.  I only discourage solid white.  In my opinion, I feel that picking a couple colors with a "pop" color looks best.  For example, blacks and greys with a pop of yellow or teal.  Or navy and tan with a pop of coral.  The combinations are endless!
