This is the second engagement session I have done for this couple. When we went home a few months ago, they called and wanted a session, and then when they found out we were going home for the Memorial weekend and going to be at Bear Lake, they called and requested a session on the beach. I think I was more excited to do this session than I was to actually be on vacation on the beach!

We scheduled our session LATER in the evening. I kept watching the clock and looking at the clouds and sun...I am going to lose my lighting. NO! NO! NO! I really want this to work out. As soon as they arrived, we darted to the beach. It was the FASTEST session I have ever done because we were running around trying to get as many pictures and poses before we lost our lighting. And then it happened...the most BEAUTIFUL sunset ever! I wasn't planning on that, but hey, there are NO complaints coming from me!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures. Everyone thinks I am crazy. A picture of nothing....EXACTLY!...it lets you create the part of the scene that isn't photographed.

I warned you it was a beautiful sunset! Only problem...because I was shooting THEM, I didn't get any of my family with the sunset. No worries, maybe the next day or the next...WRONG...dark rain clouds for the rest of the weekend. I don't know if we even seen the sun after this evening. Next time for sure!

How romantic! Dancing in the sunset on the beach. Maybe I should have left!? Nah, I LOVE being the interfering photographer!

Can you tell she is a dancer?

Oooh-laa laa! Another one of my favorites!

Thanks, Kira and Sean, for letting me capture a few moments on the beach. May you enjoy many more sunsets in the future!

This is an idea I would have never thought of...well, not for a while anyways. This friend contacted me about doing a generation session with "the girls" because grandma's were going to be in town. How fun! I wish I would have been able to do something like this before my grandma....aka "Nan"...passed on. Priceless!

If you have followed this blog of sneak peeks before, you know how much I LOVE feet! Maybe because it is one of the only parts on my body I am content with....

Thank you, girls, for letting me capture a few moments of your generations.

My mouse is currently having a melt down and no longer wants to communicate with the computer, so I apologize for writing down below. What a cute couple! They made me want to get married again...to my husband of course! LOVE is grand!

Thank you, Rachel & Ryan, for letting me capture a few moments of your engagement. I hope you guys got some sleep!

This was the LARGEST session I have done yet! It started out extremely windy and excruciatingly cold, but I prayed hard, and eventually the wind calmed...and then I started complaining about the sun ruining my pictures. I guess I am never completely satisfied! We had tons of fun though...as you will see.

Don't they have the cutest family ever. Mom and Dad should be super proud!

I {heart} posterity shots!

The girls! Sshhh...It's a secret what we were all laughing about!

The guys!

Daddy's little girls!

Momma's boys!

Thank you, Danes family, for enduring the cold and wind and allowing me to capture a few moments of your family. I hope you have all defrosted by now! =)

Words can't describe how I excited I am about the arrival of this little guy. It helps that he is absolutely adorable and has the cutest, most perfect little features. This session took a little bit longer than some, but the little guy NEVER cried...not once! He likes me, I just know it!

Dad is getting his pilots license!

Thank you for letting me capture a few sweet moments of baby Ashtyn!
